On October 2, personnel from State Grid Taizhou Electric Power Supply Company visited the construction site of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge to inspect the power supply and utilization equipment. They conducted technical retests on the lighting power switch cabinets of the bridge, laying a solid foundation for safe and reliable power supply for the soon-to-be-completed Changtai Bridge.

The main bridge of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge spans the river and consists of a 1,208-meter main span steel truss cable-stayed bridge and two 388-meter main span steel truss arch bridges, setting world records for the largest span cable-stayed bridge, the largest span road-rail dual-use steel truss arch bridge, and the longest continuous steel truss beam. The construction of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge was fully commenced in October 2019, with a planned completion in the first half of 2025.

To ensure the power supply for the bridge project, State Grid Taizhou Electric Power Supply Company proactively understood the construction power demand and timeline, and opened a green channel to promptly handle 27 power supply business items for the project's construction, pressing the "fast forward" button for the timely commencement of the project. Meanwhile, the company established a 32-person power supply guarantee working group for the bridge construction, regularly communicating with the project department about the construction progress. By adopting high-tech means such as live working, unmanned aerial vehicle line inspections, and infrared temperature measurements, they are always prepared for power construction and emergency fault repairs, ensuring the steady progress of the bridge construction.
