The delegation, led by Dato' Sri Zohari bin Haji Akob, President of the Malaysia Service Provider Confederation, showed enthusiasm for enhancing scientific and cultural exchanges. He remarked that the visit to Beijing has been productive and expressed satisfaction with the deepening exchanges in science and culture.

During an interview with the Global Times, Ts. Ir. Louis Tay Chee Siong, Deputy President of the Technology Associations of Malaysia (TAM) and COO of PLYTEC Holding Berhad, emphasized the importance of overcoming language barriers and establishing unified standards for scientific exchange. He advocated for talent training programs in Malaysia that will extend across ASEAN, ensuring the practical implementation of scientific cooperation.

Choo Kok Beng, Deputy President of the Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World, presented the Malaysian Industrial Master Plan 2030. His presentation highlighted areas of alignment with Beijing's focus, such as technological innovation and digital transformation. The event also included the signing of collaborative agreements between educational and scientific institutions from both regions, aiming to foster talent and technological exchanges.

During the subsequent thematic exchange activities, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth and practical dialogues. They discussed cooperation plans and development strategies, focusing on enhancing public scientific literacy and supporting the growth of young scientific talent, thereby laying a solid foundation for advancing bilateral cooperation.

The "Innovative Link" event, initiated by BAST in 2012, continues to serve as a global platform for scientific exchange. It leverages the Science to Society (S2S) principles to communicate the societal value of science.
