Currently, Ningxia is carrying out a "100-day" campaign to achieve its annual development goals, and new energy has shown a rapid development.
In Wuzhong City, Northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, thanks to its "small area, abundant scenery, strong power grid, and abundant new-energy sources," Wuzhong's strategic pace of building a green development pioneer city has been accelerated.
State Grid Wuzhong Power Supply Company leverages its role as a central platform for optimizing power grid resources, continuously enhances the grid structure, and advances the development of city- and county-level power load management centers and new load management systems. Adhering to the principle of “integrating quantity and rate to ensure stability and supply,” it actively promotes local energy transformation.
Currently, there are 13 energy storage power stations on the Wuzhong grid side, with a capacity of 1.65 million kilowatts/3.3 million kilowatt hours. It is expected that by the end of 2024, Wuzhong will have 15 grid-side energy storage power stations operating a capacity of 1.95 million kilowatts/3.9 million kilowatt hours, ranking first among all cities in Ningxia.
