The Yangzhong Chen Lüsheng Art Museum in East China's Jiangsu Province is hosting a new exhibition on the latest research achievements in Han Dynasty (206BC-AD220) paintings. Expert teams from cultural organizations and museums as well as scholars who are deeply involved in the study of Han Dynasty paintings gathered for the exhibition to discuss new results and future paths in the study of Han Dynasty paintings.
According to curator Sun Yue, the exhibition includes five sections: painting rubbings, line drawings, calligraphy inscriptions, video animations and documents.
Yu Qiuwei, vice president of the Chinese Institute of Han Dynasty Art, said that their society has gathered Han Dynasty paintings from across the country. "This time in Yangzhong, we will display the best of them. Our Shandong region donated more than 30 pieces this time and I selected some new discoveries. I hope everyone can appreciate the beauty of Han paintings," he said.
The exhibition is set to run until December 3.
