The exhibition The Perfect Path: Marco Polo's 'City of Heaven' opened recently at the China Academy of Art to mark the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death.

The exhibition, which celebrates the famed Venetian explorer and cultural ambassador, was organized by the China Academy of Art and the Venice Biennale. On August 8, the China Academy of Art and the Venice Biennale signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding, and this exhibition is the first collaborative project following that agreement.

The exhibition features works of contemporary Chinese artists who explore visual language and innovation rooted in the thousand-year-old tradition.

The exhibition will open to the public starting Monday and is scheduled to run until January 10, 2025.
