On November 21, a photography exhibition, jointly presented by the China International Culture Communication Center (CICCC) and the Embassy of Pakistan in China, opened at the CICCC in Beijing, China.com reported.
The exhibition features 30 works gifted by the embassy to the CICCC. These photos were captured by a Chinese travel delegation during their 2023 visit to Pakistan. The collection highlights the vibrant natural beauty and urban landscape of Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, as well as the historic Taxila ruins and Buddhist relics, which narrate the region's rich history and the deep historical ties between China and Pakistan.
Long Yuxiang, executive chairman of the CICCC, exchanged views on deepening collaboration in culture, economy, trade, and other areas of mutual interest between China and Pakistan with Khalil Hashmi, Pakistan's Ambassador to China.
Long said the CICCC will lead a delegation to Pakistan to host a series of exchange activities in the fields of culture, arts, economy and trade. The delegation will also bring some of China's theatrical productions to Pakistan, offering the Pakistani people an in-depth experience of China's rich traditional culture. In addition, Pakistani art troupes are warmly invited to perform in China, further enriching Chinese audiences' appreciation of Pakistani culture and arts.
2026 will mark the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations. The CICCC looks forward to collaborating with the Embassy of Pakistan in China to deepen exchanges and cooperation.
