In response to media reports that a newly appointed Chinese ambassador to South Korea may leave for his new post this month, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Wednesday's press briefing that for the details of the new Chinese ambassador to South Korea, the ministry suggests paying attention to the website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for updates.  

"As for China-South Korea relations, our position has been consistent. We are willing to work together with South Korea to promote the continuous development of bilateral relations," Mao said.
