Diplomatic Adviser to the French President Emmanuel Bonne will be in China from December 13 to 14. He will hold the China-France Strategic Dialogue with Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry

The two sides will have strategic communication over the implementation of the consensus reached by the two heads of state and deepen cooperation in various fields between China and France, as well as in-depth exchange of views on international and regional issues of mutual concern, ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Thursday.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. In May, President Xi Jinping made a historic visit to France, during which the two heads of state engaged in long and high-level communication, providing strategic guidance for the development of China-France and China-Europe relations.

In November, the two heads of state met again during the G20 Leaders' Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and reached multiple consensuses on further developing China-France and China-Europe relations.

The year 2025 marks the starting year of the second Jiazi, or 60 years, in bilateral relations. China hopes to advance the implementation of the consensus reached by the two heads of state through this dialogue, consolidating political mutual trust, strengthening practical cooperation, so as to promote the continuous deepening of the China-France comprehensive strategic partnership, and lead to the healthy and stable development of China-Europe relations and jointly uphold multilateralism and address global challenges, Mao said.
