Savino Del Bene, founded in 1899 in Florence, celebrates an important milestone in 2024: 125 years of history, during which it has become a global reference point in the transport and logistics sector. With a network of 340 offices in 60 countries, the company relies on the contributions of 6,000 employees, generating annual revenue that reached 2.7 billion euros ($2.8 billion) in 2023.

Savino Del Bene handled 735,000 TEUs by sea and 87,000 tons by air, positioning itself as a leader in Italy in its category and 24th globally. These results highlight not only the company's solidity but also its forward-looking strategic vision capable of maintaining the qualities that have ensured its success.

Savino Del Bene stands out for its flexible and highly specialized organization. Thanks to a vertical approach across 10 marketing areas, covering key production and consumption sectors, the company successfully tackles global challenges, even in economic conditions marked by uncertainty.

Corporate governance is based on consolidated relationships with clients, a human resources management focused on collaboration, and a strong emphasis on operational flexibility, supported by cutting-edge technologies. This approach enables Savino Del Bene to maintain a competitive position in the global market and to successfully face major competitors.

Asia, and particularly China, has represented the key areas of development, creating synergies first with Italy and later with the US, where Savino Del Bene has had a significant presence since the post-war period, when the first commercial office was opened in New York, later expanded into South America and Europe.

Expansion began in 1993 with the opening of the office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, followed by Japan and the Chinese mainland. This was then strengthened by entry into the WTO in 2004, which consolidated its presence in this crucial market. Today, its presence in China is supported by 12 offices, including logistics facilities with 300 employees.

China represents, and will continue to represent, an important reference point in the future due to its nature as an exporting country and its participation in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which creates opportunities in an economic area accounting for 32 percent of global GDP and involving 2.5 billion people.

Despite being a global player, Savino Del Bene maintains a strong connection to Made in Italy, collaborating with major Italian brands and leveraging synergies created by the latest institutional agreements, and supported by visits from President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

An example of the company's commitment to supporting valuable projects is the Savino Del Bene female volleyball team, which competes in Italy's Serie A1. In recent years, it has featured internationally renowned athletes, such as the Chinese athlete Zhu Ting, one of the best in the world.

Under the leadership of President Paolo Nocentini, Savino Del Bene has shown itself ready to tackle the complexities of the global market. With strong foundations, visionary governance, and constant attention to sustainability and innovation, Savino Del Bene is preparing for the year of2025 full of challenges but also new opportunities.
