China has always advocated solving trade frictions through dialogue and consultation, and has made the best efforts on the consultations of price commitment with the EU regarding the latter's anti-subsidy probe into China-made electric vehicles (EVs), He Yongqian, a spokesperson with Chinese Commerce Ministry said on Thursday, in response to a question regarding the progress on China-EU consultations on the price commitment.

It is hoped that the EU side will take concrete actions as early as possible to jointly advance consultations with the Chinese side, He said.

China and the EU have made progress in their consultations on a price commitment plan for Chinese EVs, and talks are still ongoing, a spokesperson with China's Ministry of Commerce said on November 28.

Building on an existing principled consensus, technical teams from both sides have engaged in intensive consultations and have made some progress thanks to their hard work, the spokesperson confirmed on November 28.
