On Thursday, a Philippine C-208 aircraft illegally entered China's airspace over Huangyan Dao without permission from the Chinese government. The China Coast Guard (CCG) closely monitored the situation and issued a warning, driving away the aircraft in accordance with the law, CCG spokesperson Liu Dejun said in a statement on Friday.

Huangyan Dao is an inherent part of China's territory, and the Philippine actions seriously violate China's sovereignty, posing a significant risk of maritime and air accidents. We warn the Philippine side to immediately cease its provocative infringement, said Liu.

The CCG will continue to strengthen its law enforcement efforts in China's jurisdictional waters to resolutely safeguard the country's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, said Liu.
