Ambassador of Nepal to China Krishna Prasad Oli meets with Liu Junfeng, deputy head of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), in Beijing on December 24, 2024. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on matters related to China-Nepal development cooperation.
On December 5, China and Nepal signed a framework agreement to promote Belt and Road cooperation, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
According to the agreement, both countries will adhere to the principle of "planning together, building together, and benefiting together," and strengthen pragmatic cooperation in key areas.
The signing of the framework agreement is of great significance to deepening political mutual trust between China and Nepal and promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, said NDRC.
Du Wei, deputy director-general of the Department of International Cooperation of the CIDCA, and Surendra Kumar Yadav, a minister at the Embassy of Nepal in China also attended the meeting.
