The Embassy of Peru in China opened a photography exhibition staged at Qianmen Street, which started from December 27 to 29, 2024.

The exhibition featured desert, mountains, and forests, showcasing various landscapes in the country.

The year 2024 marked the 200th anniversary of the consolidation of Peruvian independence with the Battle of Junín and Ayacucho.

The rich Peruvian red color complemented the antique scenery of Qianmen Street, creating a unique spark.

Located at the central axis of Beijing, Qianmen Street, a famous pedestrian street in Beijing for shopping and sightseeing, runs from the Archery Tower of Qianmen, or the Front Gate in the north to the Temple of Heaven in the south. It is 840 meters long and 21 meters wide. It showcases buildings whose styles resemble the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
