Cuba: Ambassador visits North China’s Inner Mongolia

Cuban Ambassador to China Alberto Blanco Silva visits North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from December 25 to 26, 2024. 

Pang Hui, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, hosted the ambassador and held talks with him.

Pang welcomed the visit of the Cuban Ambassador and introduced the basic conditions and economic development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, especially the region's comprehensive deepening of the reform and promoting the high-level opening-up to the ambassador and his party. 

Pang said that the office is ready to actively play its role as a bridge to link the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with the Republic of Cuba to strengthen exchanges and deepen practical cooperation.

Ambassador Silva introduced the economic and social development of the Republic of Cuba.

The ambassador also expressed his expectation for in-depth cooperation in the fields of new energy, tourism, and medicine with China in the future.

During his visit, Ambassador Silva visited Ordos Museum, a famous landmark in the new city center of Ordos, and some local enterprises.
