Uzbek Ambassador to China Farhod Arziev met Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) in Beijing on December 27, 2024. The two parties had an in-depth exchange of views on cooperation for 2025.
Luo said that China and Uzbekistan's all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era has developed with high quality and practical cooperation in various fields, and has continued to achieve new results.
The CIDCA is willing to work with Uzbekistan to conscientiously implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, said Luo. He added that the organization is willing to continue to deepen China-Uzbekistan development and cooperation, promote high-quality Belt and Road Initiative cooperation and implement global development initiatives.
Luo noted that the CIDCA is making new contributions to the development of bilateral relations and building a community of shared future between China and Uzbekistan.
Ambassador Arziev said that the two heads of state have promoted bilateral relations and opened a new chapter. He acknowledged that the two sides have continued to deepen cooperation in various fields.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude to China for its long-term strong support for Uzbekistan's economic and social development and improvement of people's livelihood.
He also spoke highly of the fruitful work done by the CIDCA and Luo's efforts. Arziev said that he is willing to further communicate and cooperate with the CIDCA to jointly implement the policies developed between the two countries. He also confirmed his commitment to carrying out the consensus reached between the two state leaders, and further improving the quality and efficiency of the Uzbekistan-China development cooperation.
China and Uzbekistan upgraded their ties to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era in January 2024.
