China's Ambassador to South Korea, Dai Bing, presented his credentials to South Korea's acting president, Choi Sang-mok, on Tuesday.
Dai conveyed greetings from Chinese leaders to Choi and expressed that China and South Korea are friendly neighbors and important cooperative partners. He emphasized that China is firmly committed to developing the China-South Korea strategic cooperative partnership, according to the Chinese Embassy in South Korea.
Under the current circumstances, Dai said he believes that the South Korean people have the wisdom and capability to properly handle domestic issues, and he sincerely wishes for stability, development, and prosperity for South Korea.
For his part, Choi welcomed Dai on his new appointment and asked him to convey his greetings to the Chinese leaders. Choi expressed his hope that Dai would play an active role in promoting the development of ROK-China relations.
Dai arrived in Seoul on December 27, 2024, to assume the position of Chinese Ambassador to South Korea.
