In response to an inquiry related to whether any countries such as Nepal and India, since they are so close, have offered help in the earthquake search and rescue operation in Southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region and whether China has sought help from them, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Friday that on the earthquake in Dingri County in the city of Xigaze, Xizang, China shared the latest developments and relevant response and relief effort on Thursday.
Currently China’s search, rescue and medical care support is well guaranteed. We appreciate the care and support from the international community, said Guo, at Friday’s press briefing.
