Singer Eason Chan's concert, the Bangkok stop of FEAR and DREAMS World Tour, originally scheduled to take place on February 22, 2025, has been canceled, the organizers announced on Friday in a statement. They stated that the decision was made considering the recent safety concerns for people traveling to Thailand, following discussions with the singer, his management team, and relevant companies in Bangkok.
According to the statement released by the organizers, they announced that tickets for the Bangkok stop of Eason Chan's FEAR and DREAMS World Tour had sold out completely in December 2024 after the concert was unveiled. They expressed gratitude to the audience for their support, which provided great motivation for the concert's preparation. The organizers also stated that the entire team had been dedicated to delivering an unforgettable concert experience for the audience.
However, they emphasized that the safety of the audience is the top priority for both Eason Chan and the organizers. Considering recent safety concerns for Chinese citizens and fans traveling from various locations to Thailand, they made the decision to cancel the concert and provide full refunds.
The organizers apologized for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation and assured ticket holders who purchased through the official ticketing platform that full refunds would be processed within 10 working days of the announcement.
Additionally, they reminded the public that defamatory statements or false information regarding the artist or organizers circulating on online platforms, which infringe on reputation rights, will be met with legal action. They confirmed that they have obtained the necessary authorization and have already appointed lawyers to handle such cases.
