When asked about the Trump administration's renaming of the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America" and whether China would change its designation for the Gulf, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday that China has taken note of the relevant reports and the reactions from relevant countries. 

In international relations, opposing hegemony and bullying is a consistent stance of the Chinese side, Guo added.
