The Royal Thai Consulate General in Shanghai celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand in Shanghai on February 7. Launching the "Taste of Thailand," Prinat Apirat, Consul General of Thailand in Shanghai, welcomed delegates from Chinese and Thai enterprises as well as envoys in Shanghai. In the exotic atmosphere, guests from China and Thailand not only enjoyed a colorful feast of food, but also appreciated the unique charm and enthusiasm of Thai humanities.

At the event, the guests were offered options of the spicy and sour Tom Yum flavor and rich curry coconut milk. From seafood to dessert snacks, the customized tasting menu combined traditional Thai cooking techniques with Chinese stir-fry cooking techniques, combining the two countries' culinary cultures.

In addition to the classic and authentic Thai cuisine, the guests also enjoyed melodious traditional music and vibrant Thai dances.

With food being a bridge, Thai cuisine, as part of the culture has long conveyed China-Thailand friendship, connecting the profound cultural heritage between the two peoples.
