Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun

When asked about CK Hutchison’s sale of its overseas ports business, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday, “On this specific question, I’d refer you to competent authorities.” 

“As a principle, let me stress that China firmly opposes moves that infringe on and undermine other countries’ legitimate rights and interests through economic coercion, hegemonism and bullying,” said Guo.
