The State Administration for Market Regulation, China's top market regulator, announced on Friday night that it has launched an investigation into DuPont China Group, a subsidiary of the US firm DuPont, for suspected violation of China's Anti-Monopoly Law.
The announcement of investigation came after China launched on Friday a series of countermeasures following US President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order on the so-called "reciprocal tariffs," imposing a 10-percent "minimum baseline tariff" and higher rates on certain trading partners, Xinhua reported.
