On April 18, the State Grid Suzhou Power Supply Company, in collaboration with the Suzhou Development and Reform Commission, launched the "Green Power Empowerment, Service for Enterprise Benefit" green energy use special lecture event. Through policy interpretation, technical support, case sharing, enterprise interaction, the event aimed to build a bridge for government and businesses to jointly promote green development, helping companies achieve a "win-win" in cost reduction, efficiency improvement and sustainable development. The first stop of the event was in the Changshu Economic Development Zone, with 40 enterprise representatives in attendance.

The company organized experts to provide an interpretation of power market and green power green certificate policies, offering in-depth analyses of key issues such as green power trading rules, electricity price optimization, and transparency of electricity bills. This helped enterprises gain a clearer understanding of green power policies and trading mechanisms. Additionally, under the theme "Market Energy Efficiency Services and Case Studies," the company showcased its "Energy Services + Digital Technology" integration approach, focusing on peak load management, virtual power plant registration mechanism, energy efficiency bill services and other aspects.

"We are already focused on green development. Through the discussion, we have gained insights into the new green energy policies, which will help us better promote energy conservation and emission reduction," said Wang Tian, a representative of the participating enterprise, Sumitomo Rubber (Changshu) Co., Ltd., said.

According to reports, in the first quarter of this year, nearly 40,000 green electricity transactions have been completed in Suzhou, totaling 1.587 billion kWh of electricity, a year-on-year increase of 64.1 percent.

"Upon receiving feedbacks from enterprises regarding their needs in handling green electricity and green certificates, as well as interpreting electricity bills, we immediately added these requirements in our key service list and provided policy interpretation services to guide enterprises in correctly conducting green electricity and green certificates transactions," said Cao Jun, head of the Operation and Service Center at State Grid Suzhou Power Supply Company, adding that the "Green Power Empowerment, Service for Enterprise Benefit" series of lectures will be held citywide to promote green electricity and green certificates transactions, optimize energy consumption structures, improve energy efficiency management, and explore new pathways in the green energy era.
